It doesn't seem to be a common issue (I've found a just few references with mostly 360 users having the same problem, but it doesn't seem widespread). So that's good news I guess, although that means it's highly unlikely there will be a workable solution for me as far as \"repairing\" the save. It's probably something extremely stupid, like there is a single save state field that was not filled out, and because of that it failed a check. I would have no idea how to manipulate that, so I guess the only chance would be if someone knew how to fix up this game's save files on a PC editor.
It seems like enough people are having this problem maybe in the future someone will figure out a fix with some type of save file editor, maybe if I'm lucky my save file will be \"repairable\" in the future. Depending on just how messed up it really is (i.e. is it just missing one random field that didn't get written/saved properly, or is it totally scrambled to hell).
